Collection: Compelling Coastlines

Collection Overview

In this collection, Alicia translates the ebb and flow of South Australia’s coastal landscapes into a harmonious visual composition.

As a child, Alicia spent countless sunlit mornings amongst the alluring enclaves and hidden grottos of the Limestone Coast region. As the day unfolded, the intricate interplay of tides regularly challenged Alicia and her family of spirited explorers to reconsider the timing of their escapades.

Each coastal campground was infused with an array of familiar sensations enveloped her senses - the smell of sea salt, the sound of waves splashing against shore and rock, the warmth of the sun and sand on skin.
